Cons: Who needs lights or spacious rooms anyway? It's not like I have any stuff to put down or can sleep comfortably on a hard mattress.

Although overall the experience was positive, the check-in process was a bit stressful. The keys were held at a cafe, which closed at 8pm.

The location of Oriental Bay was perfect, with stunning views of the mountains and sea from my clean and comfortable room. The breakfast at the nearby Votsalo cafe was top-notch, offering a delicious spread and unbeatable beachside ambiance. The staff, including the friendly waiter Michaelis and the helpful owner and their family, made my stay even more enjoyable. Oriental Bay is ideally situated, within walking distance of restaurants and the town center, yet still providing a peaceful atmosphere in nature. it was a delightful experience.

We spent our holidays at Oriental Bay with two children. Staff was super friendly and the place was clean and quiet just next to the beach. The breakfast was served in a 2' walk cafe' near the hotel and it was delicious. The best thing about the room was that it had 2 bathrooms with a shower each and a washing machine, which made it perfect when staying with small children.

Another perk was being just steps away from the beach for a refreshing morning swim. The staff at Oriental Bay were also very kind and helpful, with the maid even carrying our suitcases down two flights of stairs when we left. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Paleochora.
